Traditional Japanese Experience with Good Food and Beautiful Views My family and I recently spent Easter in a ryokan-style hotel and had a fantastic time. the traditional Japanese meals were delicious and presented beautifully in our room. the calm and pristine views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. the location was convenient, allowing us to take short walks to various attractions. Another highlight was the opportunity to sleep on rice mat floors, which made for an authentic experience.

Bathroom Size and Lack of Privacy Our family's only negative experience was the size of the bathroom and the lack of privacy due to the thin walls. the shower area was small, and water splashed everywhere, making it hard to move around.

We chose a hotel located up on the mountain, which required a steep hike to reach its front door. the view from our spacious room was stunning, but the bathroom seemed outdated compared to the photos we saw online.
