Traditional Japanese Experience with Good Food and Beautiful Views My family and I recently spent Easter in a ryokan-style hotel and had a fantastic time. the traditional Japanese meals were delicious and presented beautifully in our room. the calm and pristine views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. the location was convenient, allowing us to take short walks to various attractions. Another highlight was the opportunity to sleep on rice mat floors, which made for an authentic experience.
Bathroom Size and Lack of Privacy Our family's only negative experience was the size of the bathroom and the lack of privacy due to the thin walls. the shower area was small, and water splashed everywhere, making it hard to move around.

We chose a hotel located up on the mountain, which required a steep hike to reach its front door. the view from our spacious room was stunning, but the bathroom seemed outdated compared to the photos we saw online. Breakfast was delicious, but the food service was slow and the staff seemed to be disorganized, as mentioned in some reviews. There were good facilities like two big hot baths that helped us feel refreshed after the long hike.
The staff's behavior when enforcing the rules regarding the hotel's onsen use was quite rude.

We enjoyed the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast served in our room. The hotel had spacious and well-designed onsens, one indoor and one outdoor. The staff provided great hospitality and answered all our questions during our stay. The hotel also provided a shuttle bus service, making transportation easy.
Nothing, all great.

The meals were delicious, and the staff was attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the onsen facilities, especially the indoor and outdoor baths. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with great views of the surrounding nature.
The hotel was quite difficult to find and access without a car. , the towels provided were not enough for our needs.
